Hi, I have been trying to upgrade my windows 7 to Windows 8. I have a new HP Pavilion 15 L1105n, I have been trying to upgrade through windows 7 to windows 8 but it is not working. All the tutorial online are not working, I have all the latest updates installed. When I click on upgrade I get the following error:
No available operating system found. Please install an operating system.
When I try to do a clean install, I get the following error:
No available partition. Please make a partition.
I have re read a few times the documentation and tried a few different ways, with no luck. I am getting no help online either.

The current version of windows 8 will not upgrade.You need to clean install.
Solution:
Change your upgrade path to "Upgrade now"
and change your disk from CS to U.
